About
The Company
Based in Warrington, in the United Kingdom, the company specialises in the wholesale and distribution of air brake components on both a national and international level.
Since commencing trading in March 2003, New World Air Brake has rapidly expanded to become one of the UK’s premier stockists of commercial air brake equipment. It would be fair to say that the company is now one of the largest truly independent air brake suppliers in the UK. From an original staff of just three, working from a small depot of only 300 square metres, the company now employs over twenty people from two depots, an 1,100 square metres head office in Warrington and a smaller satellite depot at Purfleet, in Essex.
The Service
With a combined experience of almost 100 years in the UK commercial vehicle industry, New World’s technical sales team is second to none. More and more UK customers are using the company not only to assist in part identification, but also as a database of technical information on which they can rely when necessary. Even when the company does not offer the part they need, we can often point them in the right direction !
New World’s business philosophy is simple – we aim to provide an unparalleled service to our customers. An excellent technical sales team is a vital part of that service, but it is not the only one. The parts we supply are only of the highest quality, whether genuine or non-genuine. Our customers know they can rely on us and our parts at all times. By supplying these parts at competitive prices, we are also able to provide our customers with a significant trading advantage in the marketplace. Since availability of product is one of the most important considerations for our customers, we offer a next day delivery by carrier to all our UK customers, and a same day van delivery service to those customers who are situated within range of either of our two depots. Finally, there is our after-sales service to consider, since our commitment to the customer does not end when we have supplied a part to them. Even with the best of intentions, problems do sometimes occur. Whether the fault lies with New World or not, we will always do our best to provide a solution which satisfies the customer.
The Product
The company carries an extensive range of stock, mainly covering genuine Wabco, Knorr-Bremse and Haldex products, together with a fast-growing selection of new, non-genuine components. A full range of MEI slack adjusters is also available. All popular vehicle applications can be serviced from stock, including DAF, Volvo, Scania, Iveco, Mercedes and many others.
All popular truck and trailer braking systems are covered, including ABS, EBS, MGX, Modal, Modular and EB+ systems. Mechanical and air system components are held in stock, allowing the company to continue to supply parts for older vehicles, but with increasing demand for electronic braking system components, many such electronic parts are also now stocked, including a growing number of diagnostic products.
Overseas
New World Air Brake has an extensive global network of suppliers and customers. The company has forged many successful relationships with similar overseas enterprises which are happy to operate outside the restrictive agreements under which authorised distributors must work. New World is happy to provide such companies with either a UK source or a UK distribution centre, with a guarantee of complete discretion. The company is constantly looking to develop its network of high quality customers and suppliers.
In circumstances where such discretion is not required, New World is also happy to promote the brand or name of any of its authorised suppliers and manufacturers. An excellent example of this came into operation on 1st January 2005, when New World secured the exclusive rights to distribute the products of SORL Autoparts in the UK & Ireland. SORL are one of China’s foremost manufacturers of air brake equipment, supplying original equipment to several of China’s major automotive manufacturers, as well as exporting new, non-genuine components to the commercial vehicle aftermarket in over 30 countries across the world, covering the USA, Europe, South America and Australia.
